CompactLogix 5380 Controller

CompactLogix 5380 controllers provide higher performance, increased capacity, improved productivity and enhanced security to help meet the growing demands of smart machines and equipment for manufacturing. These controllers are ideal for applications requiring high-performance communications, I/O and motion control for up to 32 axes.

1769 Compact I/O™ chassis-based modules can be used as local and distributed I/O for a 1769 CompactLogix L3x, CompactLogix 5370 or Compact GuardLogix 5370 controller. Rack-type features in a rackless design lower costs and reduce replacement parts inventory. A built-in removable terminal block provides connections to I/O sensors and actuators.

1734 POINT I/O modules offer digital, analog, and specialty I/O, as well as POINT Guard safety-rated I/O, with one to eight points per module. Possible to mix standard and safety I/O in the same system. Comprehensive diagnostics and configurable features make POINT I/O easy to apply.

1794 FLEX I/O modules offer flexibility for your application with digital, analog, HART analog, and specialty I/O, with 4..32 points per module. Possible to mix and match digital and analog I/O with mounting and wiring options.

Each 1769-L3x controller and additional bank of I/O modules requires a 1769 power supply. Place 1769 I/O modules to the left or right of the 1769 power supply. As many as eight I/O modules can be placed on each side of the power supply.

End Cap/Terminator

1769 Compact I/O controllers, such as the 1769-L3, require end caps. A 1769-ECR right end cap, a 1769-ECRK right end cap, a 1769-ECLK left end cap, or a1769-ECL left end cap terminates the end of the communication bus.
