Allen-Bradley 25B-D043N114 Adjustable Frequency AC Drive is an AC drive with a stand-alone detachable control module, which provides all-around and cost-effective motor control in a variety of industrial applications ranging from standalone operation to simple system integration. Its modular design makes it easy to use with field configuration and installation, and users can also control, configure, and access the application data remotely via an embedded Ethernet/IP port, which is an added advantage over conventional drives.

The Allen-Bradley 25B-D043N114 PowerFlex 525 is a Frame E Adjustable Frequency Drive. This drive has an input voltage range of 380-480VAC, -15% and + 10 % input voltage tolerance along input frequency range of 47-63 Hz. It delivers output Voltage, frequency, Current and power of 0-460VAC, 3-Phase, 0-500 Hz fully programmable frequency, Current of 43.0 A and Power of 22 kW (30.0 HP) for normal operation and 18.5 kW (25.0 HP) heavy-duty operation, respectively.
Drive is a compact and highly-cost effective device as it can implement motor control, speed control and protective functions via a variety of control methods and supplemental features such as Volts / Hertz, Sensorless Vector Control (SVC), Closed loop velocity vector control and Permanent Magnet motor control method. Supplemental but equally important features include PointStop, Closed loop feedback with an optional encoder card, Point-to-point positioning mode for Positioning control as well as Integral Proportional + Integral + Derivative (PID) control wherein up to Two (2) control loops may be controlled by the drive automatically.

The 25B-D043N114 communicates using an embedded Ethernet/IP port which allows for control over the Ethernet network, and it also has an integral RS-485 serial interface which allows for multi-drop communication configuration. This drive is a Frame D drive with an open type enclosure, and it has an operating temperature limit of -20 to 50 degrees Celsius (-4 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit) without derating. This PowerFlex 525 is also supplied with an embedded keypad allowing local operation such as Start / Stop / Jog /Forward / Reverse commands as well as configuration of parameters. It is paired with an embedded Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) readout to allow the user to monitor the current status of the drive and current parameter menu
