Allen Bradley 1606-XLE480E  is an essential switched-mode power supply that is part of the Bulletin 166-XLE series.

This power is supply operates at a 1-phase, 100-240 VAC input supply voltage along with an input frequency and current of 50-60 Hz, 4.46 Amperes at 120 VAC, and 2.33 Amperes at 230 VAC.
Power supply module is designed to operate with high efficiency, capable of implementing inrush current limitation with active Power Factor Correction (PFC) installed. This power supply is intended for use in general purposes, basic applications however, it comes with a 20% power reserve unlike any other standard power supply in the market.

1606-XLE480EP output specifications include nominal output voltage of 24VDC with an adjustment range 24 – 28VDC and output current of 20 Amperes at 24VDC, with an ambient temperature of less than 45°C; 24A at 24V, amb <45°C; 17.1A at 28V, amb <60°C and 20.6A at 28V, amb <45°C while the module’s output power ratings are 480W at an ambient temperature of less than 60°C and 576W at an ambient temperature of <45°C. This module exhibits an output ripple of less than 50 mV peak-to-peak at a frequency of 20 Hz to 20 MHz.

1606-XLE480EP has a power factor rating of 0.99 / 0.95 at 120 and 230VAC, respectively, and generates an inrush current rated 9 / 7A peak at 120 / 230VAC voltages. This power supply module supports DIN rail mounting however, wall mounting is also supported via the 1606-XLC Wall Mount Bracket.
